Who am I?

A game about imagination

This is a game about imagination. It involves a certain amount of stereotyping, which is generally considered a bad thing these days, but only in an enjoyable manner I think. The game is called "Who would you be..." Try it when you are bored at work or school, or even riding a bus with complete strangers. Think about people you know or people you are looking at, for example the bus strangers. Think about a certain time period such as the Qin Dynasty, Biblical times, the American frontier. Then try to imagine the people you know as characters in this time. What kind of a person would they be? What would they look like? I get a kick out of imagining my Chinese students in different dynastic attire, and find it interesting to ponder what they would have been like during the Cultural Revolution. The game can give you hours (okay maybe minutes) of in-your-head creative enjoyment.
