Sophora japonica Representative of one of the thousands of Chinese Scholar Trees that line the streets of Xi'an.	Sophora japonica (2-300 years) An old specimen of the Scholar tree that's lived many a year outside the Forest of Steles museum.	Ginko biloba One of the Ginkos that line the south avenue leading to the gate.
Poplar (Cottonwood?) This is a specimen of the mystery Poplar.	Plantanus orientalis These mid-sized Plane Trees line many of the streets south of Xi'an. Larger trees can be found to the east.	Cercis chinensis This Redbud was flowering in April.
